General Terms and Conditions ("GTC")
These general terms of contract ("GTC" or "Conditions") define the rules for the use of this website, which Swiss Tavolata, Kehlenstrasse 25, CH 5712 Beinwil am See, Switzerland, makes available to the user. These terms and conditions are deemed to be accepted by the user as soon as he/she uses the website. If the user wishes to reject these terms and conditions, he/she waives his/her right to use the website.
SWISS TAVOLATA can adapt the conditions at any time. The user is always bound to the conditions that are in force.
1. Services of SWISS TAVOLATA
1.1 SWISS TAVOLATA arranges events (Tavolata) through its website where guests can eat and drink. After receipt of the guest's booking for an event, a binding legal transaction between the guest and the hostess is established. SWISS TAVOLATA is not party to this contract, which only binds the guest and the host.
1.2 In the event of problems in the contractual relationship, the guest can contact SWISS TAVOLATA via the e-mail address. SWISS TAVOLATA will then intervene in an intermediary capacity.
1.3 In the event of a complaint by the guest, the complaint will be addressed to the host, with a copy to SWISS TAVOLATA. SWISS TAVOLATA does not assume any liability for the hostess.
1.4 The guest will send a copy of his complaint to SWISS TAVOLATA and undertakes to wait for their mediation offer before taking legal action.
2. Booking, processing and payment
2.1 If the guest books an event with a hostess for him/herself and other guests to be registered, the event is only definite when a confirmation email is sent by the hostess. This is a binding record of the reason for the hospitality, the price, the scope of the service, place and time.
2.2 The prices stated on the website apply to the booking. These are generally understood to include value added tax [1].
2.3 All bookings are settled directly with the hostess, by prepayment, down payment and/or cash payment on site. (See conditions on the individual hostesses' page)
2.4 Upon receipt of the booking by e-mail or telephone, the guest adviser will send the client a confirmation by e-mail and, according to her conditions, an invoice for the advance payment or deposit.
2.5 The booking can be cancelled as follows:
A rebooking of the event to the same extent and with the same hostess until 7 days before the guest event is free of charge
Otherwise:
- Up to 7 days before the event 20% of the booking price will be charged
- Until 3 days before the event 50% of the booking price will be charged
- Less than three days before the event 80% of the booking price will be charged
In case of inability to attend, substitution is possible, but the hostess must be informed by e-mail.
In the event of illness, accident or force majeure (storms etc. - to be proven by suitable evidence), which prevent the host or guest from participating in or staging the event, the guest will be given an alternative option or, in the case of a prepayment/down payment, a voucher will be issued. There will be no refunds.
2.6 Guests must identify themselves to the hostess by means of the booking confirmation e-mail.
